broadcasters need to learn what new
options for TV advertising are available
to improve existing revenue stream
develop new revenue sources.
According to
the television bureau of advertising
(www.TVB.org), TV broadcaster
advertising revenues are declining over
the last 5 years! TV broadcasters are
fearful that Internet advertising is
stealing revenue opportunities (and
jobs) from their systems. This is a
valid concern because over the past few
years, almost have of TV advertising
budgets have shifted to Internet
advertising. Broadcasters need to learn
how to make more money from existing ads
and to find ways to setup new
advertising revenue sources.
The good
news is that there are some new
advertising technologies that enable
TV broadcasting systems to target ads
in a similar way that the Internet
can. This provides enormous earnings
potential for TV broadcasters that
know which options to implement on
their systems.
